At 56 years of age, I thought getting nervous or goose-bumps about buying the 2001 black Savage was odd. Haven't ridden a bike since 1972 in the Mohave Desert, So. California. Well, I listened to all of you and felt, smelled and tasted the pride each of you have in this machine. Bought from a great dealer in Aiken, South Carolina (USA)this afternoon. $3800.00 was a good deal. Added bags, windshield, helment and gloves plus extended factory warranty for 10% over cost. Come Friday, I'll glide down the sunny, tree-lined country roads of southeast Georgia. Thanks for the tips on 'breaking-in', oil changes, speeds a various break-in points, the 600 mile check-up and keeping my eye on the oil level. Wish you all could be with me on my first ride. Roger
